A brief history of my professional career
I joined Picsart in 2022 to be part of an ambitious team growing globally. My role evolved from first supporting Research within the Growth & Monetisation business unit, to now overseeing User Experience as a whole – including Product Design.

Before Picsart, I was at Zoopla, where I headed up the User Research team. During my short time there, I revamped the UR career frameworks, hired new researchers, established a research operations function, consolidated critical insights and identified high-risk research questions to shape strategic direction
Before Zoopla, I was at Monzo Bank. I joined as the first user researcher in 2017 and established the practice from scratch. That included:
- Building a high-performing team by recruiting talented individuals
- Writing the hiring playbooks for user research
- Developing a career progression framework
- Creating a searchable database of research projects
- Training cross-functional peers to run their own lightweight, disposable research
- Repeatedly sharing insight across the company and at executive level
- Influencing product and design direction
I started off agency-side where I built up experience across different industries and types of projects. Soon after, I went in-house, followed by a short stint contracting
My experience spans across different industries, from multinational corporates to start-ups, and even government. I've run research on most devices, from mobile, desktop, tablets to kiosks, nationally and internationally.
